HERMISTON — A Pacific Northwest musician, whose album sales are approaching a million copies, will play in Hermiston. John Nilsen, who calls Oregon home, will perform a solo piano concert Friday at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 191 E. Gladys Ave., Hermiston. The performance is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Nilsen has performed in every state across the nation, as well as in Europe and Asia. His solo performance will feature some new material, as well as his signature folk, jazz, boogie-woogie and traditional hymn arrangements.
