BOARDMAN — An agriculture-themed Christmas light display will illuminate the SAGE Center.

A lighting event is set for Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at 101 Olson Road, Boardman. The public is invited to drink hot chocolate and have cookies while enjoying the light show. The show will be set to music, which will be broadcast on 106.9 FM. The light display will remain through New Year.

David Pichcuskie of Stanfield constructed the display. He previously presented a light show at his home. Trees and other Christmas décor will be illuminated alongside a spray rig, a combine and a tractor, all provided by Morrow County Grain Growers.

“Moving the show is an opportunity to share it with more people and gather donations for a great cause,” Pichcuskie said.

Also, non-perishable food items will be accepted throughout the event. Items donated will be given to Community Action Program of East Central Oregon.

The SAGE Center is open Monday through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.visitsage.com or call 541-4817243.
