Sisters in Song perform Friday at arts center

<p>Sisters in Song, a Pendleton community choir, will perform Friday at Pendleton Center for the Arts.</p>

A Pendleton community women’s choir will present a spring concert this weekend.

Sisters in Song, which includes women of all ages, will perform Friday at 7 p.m. at Pendleton Center for the Arts, 214 N. Main St. Admission is $10 per person and tickets will be available at the door.

The group is directed by Lezlee Flagg and Cheryl Carlson and accompanied by Suzi Wood. Loree Tucker McKenna, cellist, will accompany on “Set Me as a Seal” and Nicole Wilson is guest conductor for “Homeland.” 

Other numbers to be performed include Libby Larsen’s “Today, This Spring,” “And Ain’t I a Woman,” a choral setting based on the words of Sojourner Truth, “Set Me as a Seal” by Richard Nance, “Alley Cat Love Song” by Paul Carey and and two selections from the musical “Wicked.”
