Padget is a wheat producer from Grass Valley.
Craig Reeder, of Echo, is the new vice president and Tyson Raymond of Helix is secretary-treasurer.
Jeff Newtson is the immediate past president. The election was conducted at the annual meeting in Coeur d'Alene on Dec. 1. They will take office Jan. 1.
During the annual meeting, Newtson honored Shannon Rust, Morrow County president, as the outstanding county president, and Lisa Rietmann, federal programs-transportation committee chair, as the outstanding committee chair.
Rust has served the Oregon wheat producers for a number of years and will continue her service in 2010. Rietmann was honored for her in-depth participation in the delivery and implementation of the new Farm Bill.
"Her insights were instrumental in assuring the delivery of the programs was consistent with Congressional intent," Newtson said.
