PILOT ROCK - The city is hosting a benefit for the Nels Hadden family. Mayor Virginia Carnes said Hadden grew up in Pilot Rock, so the city wants to make a difference in his life now.

There will be a community yard sale and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 27 and 28. The city is currently accepting offers if clean, usable and working donations. All donations must be in by March 25. The sale will be a "make an offer" style with customers setting the prices.

All proceeds will go to the Hadden family, as well as a list of donors.

For more information contact Carnes at 443-5832 or Helen Jobes at 443-5303.
