PENDLETON - Children of all ages and faiths are invited to participate in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 241 S.E. Second Ave., Pendleton.

No rehearsal is held; a narration of the Nativity is read and as different angels, shepherds and animals are mentioned, children are invited to come up and put on a costume. Adults will be on hand to help the children with costumes and animal faces. Wiggling and noise are not a problem.
