Rena and Bill Marquardt of Lexington will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 4 at the Lexington Baptist Church. A potluck will be served at 1 p.m.

The couple was married in 1947 at the bride's parent's home in Lexington.

Mrs. Marquardt is a homemaker and worked as a nurse's aide. She is a member of the Lexington Baptist and enjoys singing, crocheting, sewing, gardening and reading.

Mr. Marquardt is a wheat farmer. He also is a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and enjoys reading, working on his computer and enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The couple has seven children: Rick and Charity Marquardt of Connell, Wash.; Bruce Kim and Deliah Marquardt of San Diego; Billee June and Ira Owen of Lexington; Penny Chol and Rick Stumman of Portland; Charma Marquardt of Lexington; and Doug Marquardt and Phil Marquadt, both of Pendleton. They have 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
