Donald Bridges has been promoted to the rank of major in the U.S. Air Force National Guard.

Bridges is currently serving as chaplain with 116th Air Control Wing, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. He has served in the military for 14 years.

The major is a 1987 graduate of Pendleton High School. He earned an bachelor’s degree in 1990 from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle. He is the son of William and Carol Bridges of Pendleton.
