HERMISTON - Lacey DeAnn Thompson of Echo and Nicholas Patrick Wallis of Ft. Campbell Ky., were married Oct. 19, 2002 in a double-ring ceremony in the backyard of the groom's grandparents, Howard and Eilleen Wallis.

Robert Shannon performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Loretta Mae and Donald Gary Thompson of Echo. Wallis is the son of Kimberly Marie Phillips of Meacham and Jeffrey Theodore Wallis of Hermiston.

Maid of honor was Heather Shoop of Hermiston. Best man was Justin Wallis. Katie Wallis of Echo and Kiley Johnson of Twin Falls, Idaho served as flower girls.

The bride wore a navy blue gown with a velvet top and satin skirt. She carried a bouquet of blue roses and white carnations.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Echo High School. She worked at U.S. Bank.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Echo High School. He is in the U.S. Army. He returned in October after serving six months in Afghanistan. He is attending school at Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The couple lives in Wichita Falls, Texas.
