Nicole Townsend and Ryan Yocum, both of Spokane, Wash., were married June 26, 2004, in a double-ring ceremony at The Cottage Gardens in Hermiston.
The Rev. Syd Sever performed the ceremony.
The bride's parents are Debbie and Randy Townsend of Hermiston. Yocum is the son of Susie Yocum of Wabash, Ind., and Tony Yocum also of Wabash.
Maid of honor was Bethany Molden of Hermiston. Bridesmaids were Adrian Herman of Hermiston and the bride's sister, Danielle Townsend of Hermiston. Caroline Blue, the bridegroom's cousin of Wabash, served as flower girl.
Best man was Tyler Niccum, the groom's cousin of Wabash. Groomsmen were Matt Fitzgerald of Spokane and Aaron Yocum, the bridegroom's brother of Wabash. Cole Cunnington, the bride's cousin of Spokane, served as ring bearer.
The bride wore a white satin A-line gown featuring beading on the cuffed bodice with a split back and cathedral train.
She wore a beaded tiara with a fingertip-length veil. She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies and burgundy roses with ivy.
The bride graduated in 2002 from Hermiston High School and attended Spokane Community College.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Wabash. He is in the U.S. Navy and returned in March from the Middle East.
After a trip to the Oregon Coast, the couple will live in Spokane.
