The Oregon Dental Assistants Association will hold their annual Fall Conference on November 8, 2008, at the Best Western Black Bear Inn in Salem, Ore. This year's conference features guest speaker Judah S. Garfinkle, D.M.D., M.S., an expert in the area of Craniofacial Orthodontics. Attendees can earn up to two DANB credits. Dr. Garfinkle will focus on orthodontia as it applies to patients with birth defects, such as Cleft Lip or Palate and Craniofacial Microsomia.
Registration begins at 8:15 am, speaker at 9:00, and the ODAA annual meeting will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A lunch buffet is provided. Dental assisting students are invited to attend at no cost. Lunch fee for students is $15. Early bird registration (before November 1) is $30 for ODAA members, $55 for non-members. Regular registration is $40 for ODAA members, and $65 for non-members.
