The Oregon Parent Training and Information Center presents a free workshop entitled, "Understanding Special Education" on February 2, 2007 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at the Arc of Umatilla County Building, 215 West Orchard Ave in Hermiston.

In this workshop we will be talking about Special Education and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). IEPs are plans for children who have special educational needs. This is an excellent training for students on IEPs, their parents, and teachers. We will be discussing the IEP process and how to work together as team.
