The correct time is again showing in the clock tower at Heritage Station Museum.

After several months of showing the wrong time, the Umatilla County Historical Society raised the money needed to purchase a replacement part. Nearly $500 was raised from three summer walking tours led by historical society president Keith May. Additional donations for the repairs came from board members.

Barbara Lund-Jones, historical society director, said Gordon’s Electric installed a new controller earlier this month and now the clock is keeping time.

The clock tower was installed in 2003 during an addition at the museum complex.
