This is about People helping People. My name is Dwight Arnold from Pendleton, now at Evergreen Assisted Living in Milton Freewater. Last year I had the misfortune of loosing both of my legs due to PAD. On 9/30/2008 I was on my way to an appointment in my wheelchair. A gentleman stopped and asked if I needed a Powerchair. I told him that my Insurance would not pay for it and he said no problem he had one for me. I didn't know what to think? About an hour later he pulls up in front of Evergreen. He came to my room, we went outside, and there in a trailer was a Powerchair. He unloaded it and asked if I needed help getting into it. I asked how much, and he said not a thing, it's yours. WOW, it is great to know that there are still caring and giving people in this crazy world. He is certainly my angel and has made my life so much easier. This is truly a story of pay it forward.
