Northwest Farmers Union member wins national award

The National Farmers Union recently recognized the efforts of members, county and local organizations, and state divisions for excellence in membership recruitment and outreach.

Among those honored during the organization’s 115th Anniversary Convention, held March 7 in San Diego, was Tiffany Wright. A member of the Northwest Farmers Union, which encompasses Oregon, Washington and Idaho, Wright received the Silver Star Award, the highest honor bestowed to individual Farmers Union organizers. She also serves as secretary of the board of directors of the NWFU.
