HEPPNER — Small business owners and community people interested in starting a business are encouraged to attend the upcoming HatchLab community meeting.

The program is presented by HatchLab Baker, a center for entrepreneurship in Baker City. HatchLab provides programs, resources, tools and expertise for entrepreneurs starting or running a business. The purpose of the meeting is to determent if there’s enough local interest to start a “Hatch Heppner.”

The free meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 5:15 p.m. at Heppner City Hall, 111 N. Main St. For more information, call Kim Cutsforth at 541-980-3465. For more about HatchLab, www.hatchthefuture.org/hatchlab-baker.
