HERMISTON — Shannon Snyder of Defining Details Photography and Sharon Harvey of Sharon’s Sweet Treats are opening shop in downtown Hermiston this month.

Snyder said she passed up other locations to move downtown in hopes that she can contribute to the city’s efforts to bring economic viability back to the area. The city is working on an Urban Renewal Plan to make downtown more attractive by providing investment incentives.
