PENDLETON - Bob Wright, executive director of the Eastern Oregon Alcoholism Foundation, has announced he will retire on July 26. His replacement, Sonja Hart, will begin July 27.

Wright has served as EOAF director for the past seven years. He came to the position after working in the corrections field for more than 30 years.

Hart has worked at the EOAF for 21 years and has been a "major contributor" for the past seven years, EOAF said.

"The agency is in good hands with Sonja's leadership," the EOAF said in a press release.

Working with Hart, Wright accomplished many goals in improving the foundation's services.
