HERMISTON — Altrusa International of Hermiston is offering scholarships to help people gain or upgrade job skills or to re-enter the job market.

For those who hail from the greater Hermiston area and are at least two-thirds of the way done with a degree, Altrusa may be able to help people reach that goal. The service organization is accepting applications, which will result in awards of $300 to $1,500.
