PENDLETON - After a recent controversy involving trimming of Pendleton city trees by downtown merchants, Pendleton City Manager Larry Lehman has organized a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the City Hall Community Room to discuss Pendleton's Main Street trees and sidewalk.

Lehman has asked members of the Pendleton Downtown Partnership and all interested downtown and community members to help find a common plan for tree and sidewalk issues.

Those who can not attend can call City Hall to voice concerns and ideas for solutions.
