A crash has shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 near Boardman.

The crash happened around 11:50 a.m. near Milepost 159, according to information on the website tripcheck.com Police radio chatter has indicated the wreck may involve a vehicle towing a flatbed trailer. The crash has scattered debris across both westbound lanes, and Oregon State Police are rerouting traffic.

Jason Clark called the East Oregonian and reported he was stuck at the scene.

“It’s a mess,” Clark said.

He also reported it looked like it was a one-vehicle crash and an ambulance transported a person who may have been driving the vehicle.

The East Oregonian will have more as information becomes available.
