HERMISTON - A special information meeting for people who are deaf or hard of hearing will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 in room 121 at Hermiston High School.

The two-part program will provide attendees with information about the nerve agents at the depot, the facilities built to destroy them, CSEPP public warning systems, including options for the deaf and how to stay safe in event of an emergency during the first portion of the session.

The second part of the session will feature Wayne Seeley representing the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Access Program. Topics covered will include how to find and pay for an interpreter when one is necessary.
