PENDLETON — Main Street will be getting its second statue in a month on Wednesday.

A bronze of brothel madam Stella Darby will join the George Fletcher statue as a downtown attraction.

The Darby statue will occupy the south side of Main Street at the mid-block crossing between Emigrant Avenue and Dorion Avenue.

To commemorate the unveiling, Pendleton Underground Tours Executive Director Brooke Mckay and others will dress in period clothing.

Pendleton Underground paid for the bronze, which is built to scale and will be placed on the ground instead of a base to allow people to take pictures with the statue more easily.

The unveiling starts at 5:30 p.m.
