PENDLETON - Five employees of Pendleton Grain Growers recently completed two days of extensive training.

In February, PGG sent Ben Maney with outside sales in Pendleton, Bonnie Silver and Mike O'Donald in Island City, Steve Irving in Milton-Freewater and Ellis Leep in Hermiston to the CHS Nutrition Payback University in Hood River.

They all completed CHS Nutrition's training on animal feeds and animal nutrition, cattle weaning, livestock and poultry biosecurity and customer service and sales.

Along with updated information, the employees earned recognition for their achievement. They qualified for training for continuing education credits and recognition from the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists.
