Local woman, dog, head to national agility trials

AKC Agility

Pendleton woman Cynthia Hildebrand and her dog Baccus are headed to Long Beach, Calif. in December for the national American Kennel Club Agility Invitational. The top five dogs from each breed will compete in a course of tunnels, weave poles, seesaws and other obstacles. Baccus is a Mudi, one of the 157 AKC recognized breeds participating in this event. The competition is on Dec. 4 and 5, but it will not be televised until Jan. 23, on ABC.
