HEPPNER - Oregon E-Cycles will be collecting electronics for recycling on Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morrow County Fairgrounds.

All Oregon households, small businesses, small non-profits and anyone with seven or fewer computers, monitors or televisions can participate in this free event. The units collected will be transported to a recycling facility and broken down into usable components, a process that saves space in landfills ad ensures that potentially harmful elements such as lead and mercury, are properly disposed of.

For more information on the Oregon E-cycles program or to find a list of state-wide collection sites, go to www.oregonecycles.org.
