MOSIER - The Friends of Mosier High School will host the 61st annual homecoming celebration. The event will include open houses at the Mosier Community School and the newly re-opened Mosier Valley Library Saturday from 1-4 p.m.

Additionally, the first-ever Mosier Museum will open its doors at the Mosier First Christian Church. On display will be quilts, along with many items that have been tucked away in drawers, attics and basements.

A 100th Evans/Root wedding anniversary celebration video, followed by dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., Saturday at the Hood River Church of the Nazarene. The video, made in honor of Ernest Evans and Edna Root, seeks to connect the younger generation to their Mosier roots.

People are invited to join the Mosier Volunteer Firemen, as they host the Cherry Blossom Buffet Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Mosier Grange.
