HERMISTON - Names are being sought for an addition to this year's Farm-City Pro Rodeo and Umatilla County Fair week.

The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce is seeking creative names for the first of what will be an annual western dance.

The entry deadline is March 20. The name must include Farm-City.

The winning entry will be awarded two tickets for the dance, which will take place after the fair parade from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Hermiston Community and Convention Center.

The first-ever dance will feature a live country western band. You must be 21 to attend.

Suggested names can be faxed to the chamber at 564-9109 or mailed to P.O. Box 185, Hermiston, OR 97838.
