PILOT ROCK -The National FFA Organization recently awarded a $1,000 Mike Hopper Memorial Endowment scholarship to Sara Mackenzie Mills of the Pilot Rock FFA.

Mills, who attends Blue Mountain Community College, won one of 1,462 scholarships awarded by the national organization.

Mills was chosen from nearly 8,000 applicants based on her academic record and her participation in FFA and other school and community activities.
