UMATILLA - One person was killed and two people were injured in a high-speed rollover early Saturday morning at Interstate 82 and Highway 730.
A passenger, Michael David Perkins, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Both the driver, Adam Herrera, and the front -eat passenger, Phillip Cretchfield, 25 of Texas, were transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center by ambulances by Umatilla Rural Fire and Ambulance and Hermiston Fire and Emergency Services.
Herrera was later transported to Portland via Lifeflight.
Cretchfield received arm and left ankle fractures, according to Hermiston reports. He was treated and released from Good Shepherd Medical Center on Sunday, according to hospital officials.
They were both wearing their seatbelts.
Perkins' and Herrera's ages and addresses were not available this morning.
The crash is still under investigation by the Umatilla Police Department, Oregon State Police and the Umatilla County District Attorneys office.
