PENDLETON - Members of Pendleton High School's class of 2009 will attend at least 57 colleges and universities across the country, according to a list released Monday.

Many of the students will stay close to home, enrolling in 20 Oregon schools. Those include Blue Mountain Community College, Eastern Oregon University, the University of Oregon and Oregon State University.

A handful of the students' post-high school destinations are nationally ranked colleges, including Boston College, Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, Carleton College in Minnesota and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., among others.

Also on the list is Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada.
