The Oregon State Police released the names of the three passengers in the car hit by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 84. Umatilla Tribal Police previously released the names of the drivers in the incident.

According to tribal and state police, Eric Louis Broncheau, 20, who lives on the Umatilla Indian Reservation, had been driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound in the westbound lanes on Interstate 84 Sunday morning. The Pontiac crashed head-on into a 1998 Ford Mustang.

OSP said Maria Delgadillo, 28, of Texas, was driving the Mustang. With her in the car were three passengers: Juan Orta, 30, Tacon Rios, 26 and Agua Mendoza, 8, all from Texas. Police released their names at 11:35 a.m. Monday.

The release said Delgadillo is the only person still in the hospital and she has non-life threatening injuries.

Tribal police arrested Broncheau under suspicion driving under the influence of intoxicants. Police booked him in the Umatilla County Jail in Pendleton where he remains on $5,000 bail.
