PENDLETON — The Pendleton School District will host several public forums on the bond it wants voters to renew in November to help maintain schools. The first forum is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Primary, 107 N.W. 10th St., Pendleton. Other forums will take place during the next two weeks.

The district will show a video about conditions at the facilities and exhibit design concepts for replacing Sherwood Heights Elementary and Washington Elementary. The district also will present a design concept for converting the Hawthorne building into an early childhood/kindergarten center. Superintendent Jon Peterson will be on hand to answer questions.

The district will hold the following forums on the school bond and related issues:

Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Washington Elementary, 1205 S.E. Byers Ave.

Thursday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Sherwood Heights Elementary, 3111 S.W. Marshall Ave.

Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. at McKay Creek Elementary, 1539 S.W. 44th St.

Thursday, May 16, at 7 p.m. at Pendleton High School, 1800 N.W. Carden Ave.
