PENDLETON - Police arrested three people Thursday morning after a month-long narcotics investigation led them to a residence on the 1000 block of Southeast Byers Avenue.
Members of the Blue Mountain Enforcement Narcotics Team, assisted by the Pendleton police, served a search warrant at 1003 S.E. Byers Ave., where an undercover BENT agent had previously purchased methamphetamine from residents. Inside the home, officers found a small amount of meth, said Pendleton Police Chief Stuart Roberts.
Officers arrested Beau Edward Brown, 36, and Amy Lynn Becker, 34, both of the Southeast Byers residence, for possession of a controlled substance (meth), frequenting a place where drugs are kept and on warrants for failure to appear in court for possession charges and probation violations.
Officers also arrested Amber Lee Bean, 22, of 78433 Agnew Road, Hermiston, for possession of a controlled substance and frequenting a place where drugs are kept.
All three suspects were booked into the Umatilla County Jail. Becker and Brown remained in the jail this morning, and Bean has since been released.
