Walking to save a life

Nearly 80 people took part in the “Life Takes Courage” suicide prevention walk on the Umatilla Indian Reservation Wednesday.

Nearly 80 people came to raise awareness about suicide prevention at the “life takes courage” walk at Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center Wednesday. 

Leo Stewart, vice chair of the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation Board of Trustees, gave opening remarks to the participants, which included students from Nixyaawii Community?School.
