WALLA?WALLA — A Western theme will be featured during upcoming Walla Walla Chorale Society concerts.

Under the direction of Christine Janis, the group will perform a program of choral music about cowboys, cowgirls and the American West on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Pioneer Theatre at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton.

In addition to solo numbers, the choir will feature such favorites as “Clementine,” “Happy Trails,” “Home On the Range,” “Oklahoma,” “I’ve Been Working On the Railroad” and “The Streets Of Laredo.”

Admission is $10, with children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or from Choral Society members. For more information, contact wwchoralsociety.org or 509-386-2445.
