VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) _ NLight Inc. (LASR) on Monday reported third-quarter profit of $4 million.
The Vancouver, Washington-based company said it had net income of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, were 15 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 12 cents per share.
The laser maker posted revenue of $51 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $49.8 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, nLight said it expects revenue in the range of $45 million to $49 million.
