Aloha June Rosenberg
Pendleton June 6, 1928-January 10, 2017


Aloha June Rosenberg was born June 6, 1928, to Joseph and Laura (Yates) Wash in Ekalaka, Montana. She was one of eight children. She attended grade school in Ekalaka. The family later moved to Spokane.

In 1947 she married Herman (Sonny) Rosenberg and moved to the McKay Creek Ranch in Pilot Rock, where they had three children and lived till 1964. They then moved the family to the ranch in Echo where she lived until 1970. She and Sonny divorced and she moved to the Portland/Vancouver area, where she worked for Western Electric and then Boeing where she wired the dashboards for 747s, including working on Air Force One. She retired from Boeing and moved to Pendleton where she worked at the Hut Restaurant and Lounge till she was almost 80.

Aloha loved music and sang on the radio in the late 1940s. She loved to paint and make jewelry for her family. Her family was her pride and joy she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. They all have many great memories of her whit and charm.

She is survived by her daughter, Aloma Jane Rosenberg, Pendleton; sons Joe

Rosenberg his wife Melody, Pendleton, and Brad Rosenberg and his wife Marcy, Pendleton; grandchildren Cristina Barhyte (Mike) of Pendleton, Corrina Robinson (James) of Pendleton, Cheri Rosenberg of Athena, Leslie Rosenberg of Pendleton, JoAnna Jackson (James) of Vancouver, Wash., Clay Wunder of Concord, Calif., Dustin Rosenberg of Caldwell, Idaho, and J.J. Rosenberg of Pendleton; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Irene Foseberg, Della Neill, Jane McKitrick and Louise Porter; and brothers Harold Wash, Frances Wash and Rodney Wash.

A celebration of life will be held January 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pendleton Eagles Lodge, 428 S. Main St., Pendleton, Ore.

Family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in her name.
