Elmer O. Georgeson

Elmer passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. He was born on April 19, 1932, in Merced, Ca., to Orval and Hattie Georgeson. He lived most of his early life in Fresno County, attended Central Union High School, and worked and raised his family in Kerman, Calif.

In 1978 he relocated to northeastern Oregon, where he owned and operated an agricultural sprinkler business until retirement in 2010, when he then returned to live in Kerman to be closer to family and longtime friends.

Elmer will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, a friend to many in need, and a fan of anything to do with motorcycles or race cars. Since childhood he had a great passion for all animals, including horses, miniature burros, and dogs.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie White and her husband Lynn; his son, Larry Georgeson and his wife Pam; his son, Mark Georgeson; and sister, Joann Lucas. He was blessed with three granddaughters, Kristen, Erin, and Lauren; and four great-grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A., 103 South Hughes Ave., Fresno, CA 93706.

Arrangements with Neptune Society of Central California, 1154 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno, CA.
