SALEM Walter Winfield Foster, 89, died Oct. 28, 2010, and Marian Murray Foster, 85, died Oct. 12, 2010, both in Salem. A memorial event for the couple will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 at the Chemeketa Eola Northwest Viticulture Center, 215 Doaks Ferry Road Northwest, Salem.
Mr. Foster was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Portland and grew up in Clackamas. He was a Polk County district judge.
Mrs. Foster was born Dec. 18, 1924, in College Place, Wash., and grew up in Milton-Freewater. She was a homemaker.
The Fosters are survived by sons Scott and Mark, daughter Sara and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marians name to Pi Beta Phi Foundation.
