Obituary: Beverly Mae Myers

OROFINO, Idaho — Beverly Mae Myers, 73, of Orofino, Idaho, died with her family by her side Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, from injuries because of a fall. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 at 1036 Hemlock Drive in Lewiston, Idaho; contact Barb for information or directions at 208-746-4667.

Mrs. Myers was born July 25, 1937, in Helix to Harvey and Mary Bechtel. She graduated from Helix High School in 1956 and attended beauty school in Walla Walla.

She married Dale Brock in 1959, and they had two daughters. She was a stay-at-home mom while her daughters were young. After the girls started school she worked part-time at J.C. Penney Co., Skow’s Meat Cutting and PFI’s seed starter plant. After many years, she and Dale divorced. She married Dennis?Myers in 1987.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dennis Myers, and their dog Zack; sister Marilyn Childers of Ione; daughters Elizabeth Brock of Battle Creek, Mich., and Barb Marsh of Lewiston, Idaho; stepchildren Joey Myers, Suze Jones and Mike Myers; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and dear friend Dorothy Troyers.
