Obituary: Joan Lee Miller


OREGON CITY - Joan Lee Miller, 67, of Oregon City died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Friday, April 2 at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Stanfield.

Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Carroll and Edna Davison. She was a homemaker, and lived in the Umatilla County area from 1944-1965.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Scott Miller of Oregon City; sons Geoffrey Scott Miller of Taluka Lake, Calif., and Brady Scott Miller of Beaverton; sisters Carolyn Houle of San Lorenzo, Calif., Sharon Conner of Portland, Jackie Bailey of Silverton, Sandy Neustel of Lebanon and Melissa Monkus of Pendleton; brother Ed Davison of Stanfield; and one grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon City First Presbyterian Deacons, 1321 Linn Ave., Oregon City, OR 97045-7444.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Crown Memorial Center of Milwaukie.
