In his recent letter to the editor, Mike McCauley failed to get his facts straight about Senator Wyden's voting record when it comes to "too big to fail elitism." Far from "endorsing" those policies or "remaining silent" over the outrageous $700 billion Wall Street bailout, as Mr. McCauley claims, Sen. Wyden fought that proposal twice and voted against it on both occasions. The first time was when it was offered by a Republican president. The second time was when the idea was championed by a Democratic president. Senator Wyden supports rebuilding America by getting "Main Street" people back to work, not the very same Wall Street financial speculators who helped destroy our economy.
