Please do not pass the current health care reform bills being debated in Congress. Instead, change many mandates that will allow competition to develop in the marketplace. A good place to start would be malpractice insurance mandates. Insurance needs to be available across state lines. Establish health insurance savings accounts and allow premiums to be tax deductible.

About 80 percent of Americans are satisfied with the present system. It's no wonder so many don't want the system changed as much as is being proposed. The establishment of boards, committees, administrators and experts will allow the system to establish more oversight of health care with more government power and mandates.

The history of government programs, once established, is the enlargement of the programs as time goes on.
