A huge thank you to Anna Hopper of Hermiston and Anna’s Uncle Marvin Jones visiting from Bremerton, Wash., for assisting me with removal of shredded left front tire on the 64 Road to Jubilee Lake this past week. On their way back down the mountain after a day of fishing at the lake, they observed my situation and stopped to help. Such acts of kindness are testimony to the goodness in the world.

With instruction manual out, I had just begun to locate the necessary parts and pieces involved in changing the tire when Anna and Marvin pulled over to lend a hand. Having never changed a tire in my 58 years of life, I was blessed to be assisted by two knowledgeable and caring souls. Together we got the job done.

Thank you, Anna and Marvin, for stopping to help.
