Bob Cannon demonstrates tomorrow’s success can be found in what you do today. Today, Bob is working for you as a supervising and working sergeant for the Oregon State Police. He is a highly disciplined person who has prepared for being our sheriff by working as a police officer, corrections officer, and patrol deputy in Morrow, Union, and Umatilla counties.

Coming from four generations of Umatilla County residents, Bob knows Eastern Oregon well. Sergeant Cannon’s leadership will analyze situations, involve all police agencies in the county, and help all citizens fulfill their roles as part of the Umatilla County team. Bob not only listens to other opinions, you can disagree with him, and share another viewpoint. Bob’s leadership style pays attention to details, and works well with others.

Bob Cannon knows what to do and will follow through. He will give 100 percent every day to being sheriff.
