On behalf of the board of directors, staff, and volunteers of the Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon, I want to thank our event sponsors and the community for coming out and supporting this year’s 6th Annual Wiener Dog Race, “Goldilocks and the Three Dachshunds.” Hundreds of spectators turned out in downtown Pendleton to cheer on the dogs, while families enjoyed the activities, game, food and fun offered during this event. The block was packed and full of energy, thank you everyone for coming! And congratulations to Miss Fatty Patty, our two-time champion, owned by Candis Driggers.

One hundred percent of the funds raised in this event directly support the programs and activities CMEO provides our community. As the only children’s museum in all of Eastern Oregon, we rely heavily on community support and involvement. The generosity of our community and fun-loving dog owners made the event an enjoyable time for all! We look forward to the 2013 Wiener Dog Race and hope even more sponsors and dogs will participate. See you all next year!
