I was one of those 500 students who had the chance to go to Hawaii. Though I did not achieve as much as my younger sister Angela, who was also one of Dave Miller's students, Dave's skill at teaching and encouraging was more than enough to get me going on my way to where I am now.

I have improved much since the early 1990s when I was in the concert and jazz choirs. I owe much of that to Dave.

I only wish I had the chance to show him where I am now, singing with my church's worship team (and as a tenor no less) and having a marvelous time. May God bless Dave in his retirement as richly as he blessed me under his instruction.
