Every Round-Up week in Pendleton some local businesses will deem it appropriate to increase their usual prices for their respective products/services.

For example, some, but certainly not all, restaurants will have higher prices fro their meals.

Some taverns/bars will increase their prices, and may also have a cover charge that they usually do not have.

And some lodging establishments will charge more for their rooms during Round-Up week.

I am not contending these are unethical business practices or price-gouging, tub it would seem these businesses could make their profit by the increased volume of business, without raising their prices.

Some would consider that increasing prices during Round-Up is just a good business practice, but others would see it as taking advantage of customers many who are loyal customers throughout the year.
