As a 17-year-old, I'm concerned about the United States, particularly gas prices and the war in Iraq.

Gas prices are ridiculous. I honestly can't understand why we are paying for so much and getting little in return. How are we supposed to live?

It's going to get to where we can't afford to drive. We are going to lose jobs.

And why is the war still going on in Iraq? My brother is there in Iraq as we speak. Why?

I can't believe our own president has let things happen like this. I have called the White House and left messages for the president because I would like some answers. I want to know his goals and his dreams for this country. I also would like to know how much more the gas price is going to go up.

I'm concerned about my family and the rest of the communities in this country.
